• Medical and screening of fresh students will begin on Monday, January 10, 2022.
• Old students are expected to return to campus on before/on Sunday, January 23, 2022.
• Registration of courses for old and fresh students will begin on Monday, January 24, 2022.
• Lectures for Old and fresh students begins on Monday, 24, January 2022.
• Orientation for fresh students will take place from  Wednesday, February 14,  2022 – Friday, February 18, 2022.
• Matriculation of fresh students will take place on the Saturday, February 19, 2022.
• End of Application for resumption of studies is on Friday, March 4, 2022.
• The Registration of courses for old and fresh students will end on Sunday, March 20, 2022.

• Temporary withdrawal and deferment ends on Friday, April 8, 2022.

• Submission of continuous assessment (CA) scores will take place from Monday, July 25, 2022 to Friday, July 29, 2022.
• Lectures will end on Friday, August 5, 2022.

More Information on Delsu Resumption

Registration of courses for old and fresh students for the first Semester academic session shall not be later than Sunday, April 3, 2022, as the Last day for adding and deletion of courses is onFriday, April 8, 2022

This is to inform the university community, particularly staff and students that Management at its special meeting has decided as follows:

1. The university would re-open in phases as indicated here.

• • Sunday, January 9, 2022: 100 level students would resume for academic activities for continuation of the semester with weeks for medical, faculty and departmenal screening.
  • Sunday, January 23, 2022 – Old students including Diploma students would resume as well for immediate lectures with weeks of revision and two weeks for examinations.

2. All members of staff are to resume work immediately in preparation for resumption of academic activities scheduled for Monday, 10th of January 2022. Please note that all categories of staff are to resume work at 8:00 am, and close at 4:00pm.

3. Students that have 100L courses as carry-over are expected to obtain clearance from the Students Affairs Division before being re-admitted into the hostel

Submission of Memoranda for Onward Review of the University Existing Regulations in Relation to Staff and Students

The University community, particularly staff and students have been requested to forward a written representation/memoranda to the recently constituted Ad-hoc committee for the review of the university existing regulations as they affect the general wellbeing of staff and students.
