About the Tampere University Of Applied Sciences
The Tampere university community is made up of Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences. Our new community was formed in early 2019 when the University of Tampere and Tampere University of Technology amalgamated to form the new foundation-based Tampere University, which retains close relations with Tampere University of Applied Sciences.
We are working together to create a new paradigm for higher education and research in Finland. Our new community brings together research and teaching in sectors such as technology, health, and society.

Eligibility Criteria
Scholarships are granted based on an overall academic evaluation in which all application information and educational records, as well as the scholarship application letter, are considered and might be crucial. Admissions committees in the Faculties and a University scholarship council review scholarship applications. The scholarship choice will be sent to you along with admission information.
When applying for a scholarship to a bachelor’s course, you will be requested to rank the Tampere University study options in order of preference in your scholarship application. At Tampere University, you can only obtain one scholarship offer that is exclusive to one bachelor’s study choice.
Scholarships are offered to the most accomplished and motivated students in each study choice based on application information and the scholarship application letter. In your scholarship application letter, you will be asked to express your interest and motivation in the study choices to which you have applied.
If you are admitted and qualify for a scholarship in more than one Tampere University bachelor’s study option, you will only be offered a scholarship in the study option that is highest in your order of choice among the study options for which you qualify.
Please keep in mind that admission to studies is a different procedure, and you may be admitted to more than one study choice, as well as the early bird offer, if you do not obtain a scholarship offer.
How to apply
You will apply for Tampere University Scholarships and Finland Scholarships using the same online application that you used to apply for admission at Studyinfo.fi.
To apply for the scholarships, you must indicate which scholarships you want to apply for (if any), describe in writing in a scholarship application letter on the application form the academic qualifications that support your merit-based scholarship application, and explain why you want to apply for a Tampere University scholarship (max. number of characters 3500).
There are no further attachments necessary for the scholarship application.
