ETH Foundation’s Excellence Scholarship & Opportunity Programme (ESOP) provides students with a scholarship, mentorship, and a network. The scholarship covers all tuition and living expenses for the duration of the Master’s degree program.

About the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zürich)

ETH Zürich is a public research university located in the Swiss city of Zürich. Founded in 1854 by the Swiss Federal Government with the stated purpose of educating scientists and engineers, the school focuses only on science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Scholarship Benefit

• In addition to living and study expenses (CHF 12,000 per semester), a tuition waiver is provided.
• ESOP is granted for the duration of the standard Master’s programme (three or four semesters). This also applies to the waiver of tuition fees.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the ETH Zurich Excellence Scholarship and Opportunity Programme, candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

• Excellent performance in Bachelor’s degree program (top 10 percent in Bachelor’s degree program = A)
• Exhibit exceptional research skills.
• Please ensure that you can be reached at the number listed on your resume, as the selection process may include a phone/VC interview in February.
