The Antarctic Research Centre is funding this scholarship to commemorate the Centre’s 50th anniversary. The scholarship was established to fund a Masters student to conduct research on a topic related to the history of the Antarctic Research Centre, with the goal of producing oral history recordings for use in the thesis and subsequent deposit in an archive.
While the student will be expected to work on the broad topic of the Antarctic Research Centre’s 50-year history, there is flexibility to focus on specific aspects of this history based on the student’s interests.
This scholarship is for a student enrolled in Rebecca Priestley’s Masters by Thesis program at the Centre for Science in Society.
