Every year, Mälardalen University awards a limited number of scholarships to students who have chosen us as their first choice for a Master’s programme.

Every year, Mälardalen University awards a limited number of scholarships to students who have chosen us as their first choice for a Master’s programme.

As long as you follow the normal study plan (minimum 22.5 credits per semester, minimum 45 credits per academic year), the scholarship will cover 100% of the tuition fee for the program. Living expenses are not covered by the scholarship. If your status changes from fee-paying student to non-paying student during the program’s study period, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

The scholarship is intended for highly qualified students from countries other than the EU/EEA/Switzerland who are required to pay tuition fees.

Students from the twelve countries with which Sweden has long-term development cooperation are not eligible for the scholarship (Bangladesh, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Mali, Mozambique, Rwanda, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia).

Students from these countries should instead apply for the Swedish Institute Study Scholarship, www.studyinsweden.se
