The Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship will recognize and fund a new or continuing undergraduate or postgraduate education student completing their degree in the Bundaberg region.
Bundaberg East Rotary Club chartered the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise on May 16, 1991.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible to receive the Rotary Club of Bundaberg Sunrise Scholarship, an applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Be enrolled or planning to enroll at CQUniversity in the first semester of 2023;
- Be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in education or learning management;
- Possess a residential postcode in the Bundaberg area (postcode range: 4620 – 4675);
- Be a CQUniversity student as of the Census Date in Term 1, 2023;
- Receiving multiple CQUniversity Scholarships that exceed the annual value of $10,000 is not permitted.
How to apply
Complete a Scholarship Online Application Form, making sure to include all supporting documentation as outlined here.
- Current students (those who already have a Student ID number) should apply through MyCQU. You must log in using your student information.
- Apply now for future students (applicants who have applied or intend to apply to study at CQUniversity but have not yet received or accepted an offer).
On the closing date, complete applications must be received by 10 a.m. AEST. Please attach all supporting documents to your application; incomplete applications will not be considered.
Students will only receive notification of the outcome of their application via their student email accounts. Decisions are binding.
