Lakehead University, also known as ‘Lakehead U’ or ‘LU,’ is a non-denominational, provincially supported university. - Renewable if a 90% average is maintained in each academic year. If a student’s university academic average falls between 80.0% and 89.9%, the student will receive an updated scholarship worth $7,500 CAD/year for the remainder of the scholarship term.
- Renewable as long as an 80% average is maintained in each academic year.
- In Year 1, three non-renewable, one-time scholarships are offered.
- The scholarship period can last up to four academic years or until the first degree is awarded, whichever comes first. To be considered for a scholarship, recipients must be in the first, second, or third years of a four-year undergraduate degree program. Recipients whose status changes and they may be charged domestic fees will have their scholarship value recalculated to correspond to the domestic entrance scholarship grid and regulations in effect at the time.
