Early Life

Seth Aaron Rogen was born to Mark Rogen and Sandy Belogus in Vancouver.

He attended Point Grey Secondary School in Vancouver, where he began doing stand-up comedy at age 13.

Rogen dropped out of high school in his senior year and relocated to Los Angeles in the late 1990s to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.


Seth Rogen’s career took off when he was cast in the television series “Freaks and Geeks” (1999-2000), created by Judd Apatow and Paul Feig. This marked his first significant role in the industry.

He continued to collaborate with Judd Apatow in various projects, including the critically acclaimed and short-lived TV series “Undeclared” (2001-2002).
