KTH Royal Institute of Technology Scholarship applications for 2023 are now open. The KTH Scholarship covers the entire tuition fee for a one or two-year master’s degree program. In 2022, the KTH Scholarship was awarded to 13% of scholarship applicants admitted to a program (75 out of 564). The scholarship selection process prioritizes academic excellence and a desire to contribute to long-term development.

Scholarship Benefit
The KTH Scholarship covers the first and second years of tuition at KTH, provided that the first year’s study results are satisfactory.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the scholarship, you must be a fee-paying student who has applied to KTH as your first priority for a master’s program. Students who have conditional eligibility are also eligible for the scholarship.
Eligible programmes
KTH Scholarships are available to applicants to all programs except the joint Erasmus+, EIT Digital, EIT InnoEnergy, EIT Urban Mobility, and Nordic Five Tech programs, as well as the joint program Computer Simulations for Science and Engineering. Applicants to some of these programs, however, may be eligible for the KTH Joint Programme Scholarship. The KTH Scholarship is available to applicants for the joint master’s programs in Molecular Techniques in Life Science and Innovative Technology for Healthy Living (EIT Health).

When the application is open, you can apply for the KTH Scholarship by clicking the “Apply now” button in the grey box above (1 December 2022–16 January 2023).

You are not required to submit any additional documents because we will be able to access your application documents at universityadmissions.se during the evaluation process.
