Scholarship Benefit
Transylvania will provide up to two incoming students with a yearly, renewable 50% tuition stipend.

Eligibility Criteria
- Be a first-year overseas student applying to a participating institution or university with any major. (International applicants are those who are citizens of a country other than the United States and do not have U.S. citizenship or permanent status.)
- Exhibit initiative and enthusiasm for encouraging intercultural learning and sharing.
- Meet the admission requirements and adhere to the Transylvania deadlines.
- Complete the #YouAreWelcomeHere scholarship application along with a 500-1,000 word essay or a two-to-five minute video describing your leadership talents in your school or community and how you plan to continue applying those skills at the school to which you are applying.
How to apply
The #YouAreWelcomeHere Scholarship application must be submitted via email aschaaf@transy.edu to Alice Schaaf, assistant director of international recruitment, by December 1.
