Lady seen teaching Chinese university students Igbo, Netizens react

A woman who goes by the name Miss Chioma has shocked many who follow her on social media by revealing that she has taught Igbo to students at a university in China.

A video of the young woman lecturing at Southwest University in Chongqing, China, was uploaded to the internet by her.

Chioma, who is a lecturer at the institution, was showing a group of children from a nearby elementary school around the campus as part of the students’ multicultural education program.

She was fluent in Mandarin and taught students from China how to sing and welcome one another, as well as show appreciation, in Igbo.
The educationist gave a brief overview of what Igbo people are famous for in Nigeria and promised to further on Igbo culture and her birthplace the next time they got together.
She ended by singing a well-known Igbo song and rhyme, and she encouraged the youngsters to join her in doing so.

The video was captioned by Chioma with the following: “See how I teach Chinese kids Igbo on Southwest University’s intercultural programme.”
