The Playford Trust, in collaboration with Built, provides a scholarship to a student pursuing an Honours degree in civil, structural, and construction engineering at one of South Australia’s three public universities. The scholarship is worth $10,000.
Built has grown to be a national diversified general contractor and one of Australia’s largest private construction groups since 1998, proudly Australian and privately owned. With extensive tier one and large corporation experience, the company has built its reputation on being the most responsive, client-focused partner in the industry.
The successful applicant will be able to complete a work placement with the company. The placement’s goal is to help students develop skills and knowledge while also expanding their industry experience. In a collaborative setting, they will work on challenging and interesting projects. Built may also provide an internship opportunity. The type of work to be done – as well as the level of commitment – will be agreed upon between the successful student and Built.
