For the academic year 2022–2023, Flinders University created the Destination Australia Scholarships initiative to draw highly qualified students to Australia.

Scholarship Benefit
The selected students will receive $15,000 every year for the duration of their studies at Flinders University, up to a maximum of three years.
Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Countries: All nationalities.
- The scholarship will be awarded in any topic offered by the university.
- Eligibility Requirements: To qualify, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- Be commencing a bachelor’s degree at Flinders University’s Riverland campus
- Maintain permanent residency in a regional area as specified by the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ 2016 Australian Statistical Geography Standard Remoteness Structure.
- Be enrolled full-time.
- Additionally, international grantees must retain a Student Visa for the term of the fellowship.

How to Apply
- How to Apply: Applications must be sent through the Flinders University Student System online by the deadline. After that, the people who want the award can apply for it.
- Supporting Documents: All academic paperwork sent to Flinders via email must be signed by an official. For people from some countries, they also need certified copies of their passports.
- Admissions requirements: Scholarships will be given for as long as the student is in the program, as long as they keep a 4.0 GPA. The most time you can stay is three years.
- Language Requirement: For admission, international students must meet requirements for their English language skills. If English is not your first language, you will need to have: Passed the test score for the course you want to take. Schedule 1 and the table below show the IELTS and how many points you need to get to each level. IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, and Cambridge tests must be taken at a registered testing center.
