How to apply

  • How to Apply: Applicants must be accepted into a master’s degree program at the University of Copenhagen in order to be considered for the Danish Award.
  • All applicants from outside the EU/EEA who are accepted will automatically be considered for the award. People can apply for up to three Master’s programs that start in the same semester.
  • Supporting Documents: Each Master’s program has its own set of documents that must be sent with the application. Give a test of language, like the TOEFL or IELTS.
  • Admissions requirements: The specific requirements vary from course to course, so look at the course descriptions for full and detailed information on which master’s degree to take.
  • Language requirement: If you want to take a master’s course in English, you don’t need to know Danish. Students do need to be able to speak English well, though, in order to get in.

15 January 2023 for non-EU/EEA students enrolled in master’s degree programs starting in the fall of 2023. Candidates who are admitted will automatically be given consideration for the position.
