All international students are eligible for a tuition fee subsidy of 50%.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ACADEMICS

Academic merit-based scholarships are available to prospective students. This scholarship ranges from 50% to 100% of tuition.

Eligibility Criteria

Scholarships are provided at Cyprus International University for Master’s and PhD students. Graduate students having a recognized bachelor’s degree and a cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.50 or higher are eligible to apply for a scholarship.

MASTER’S PROGRAMS

• Bachelor’s Degree Diploma,
• Bachelor’s Degree transcripts for each completed academic term/year,
• Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
• Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,
• CV,
• Fully completed and signed CIU Rules and Regulations document (which can be downloaded during the online application).

PHD PROGRAMS

• A valid Bachelor’s Degree and transcripts for each completed academic term/year,
• A valid Master’s Degree and transcripts for each completed academic term/year,
• Evidence of English Language competence: TOEFL (65 IBT) or IELTS (5.5). Students without these documents will take the CIU’s English proficiency exam on campus following arrival,
• Scanned copy of international passport/birth certificate,
• CV,
• PhD research proposal,
• Fully completed and signed CIU Rules and Regulations document (which can be downloaded during the online application).
