Scholarship Benefit
- Applicants from the United Kingdom will receive tuition and a stipend at the rate set by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI).
- Midlands4Cities will provide international applicants with UK tuition fees and a stipend to cover living expenses. For successful international applicants, the University of Leicester will fund the difference between the UK and international fees.

Eligibility Criteria
- Eligible Countries: Applications from throughout the globe are welcomed
- Eligible Courses or Topics: PhD in Archaeology and Ancient History, School of Criminology, English, Geography, History, History of Art and Film, Leicester Law School, Media, and Communication Modern Languages, Museum Studies.
- Eligibility Requirements: To be eligible, applicants must meet all of the following requirements:
- You may also apply if you have relevant professional experience that is comparable to a Master’s degree.

- How to Apply: Applicants must be enrolled in the university’s PhD degree program in order to apply. Find a supervisor at one of the schools below. Fill out the application for Midlands4Cities.
- Documents to Back It Up: Put both projects/funding sources on one application form to the university. Form for Research Proposal
- Requirements for admission: You should either have a Master’s degree when you apply or be able to say that you will have one by the time your PhD starts.
- Language requirement: Students will also have to meet the entry requirements for English language.
