Scholarship Benefit
These scholarships, which range from $2,000 to $10,000 for up to four consecutive years (four years for first-year students and two years for transfer students), will be granted to those who submit the most creative replies to our topic.
Winners will be selected regardless of the academic performance of prospective students, and scholarships can be combined with other awards already won. Winners of scholarships will be revealed by April 1.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for #WhyUS scholarships, you must
- Be a Temple applicant (first-year or transfer international student). An international applicant is a citizen of a country other than the United States who does not also hold U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.
- Exhibit enthusiasm for one of the #WhyUS arguments. Learn additional information about the scholarship and #WhyUS points.

- Submit an application for admission via the Common Application.
- Submit your reaction to the creative prompt in the #WhyUS application by February 1st.
- If you are uploading a huge file, please also provide a link.
