University of Laval Excellence Scholarship for African Students 2023

The aim of this program is to encourage academic performance by providing scholarships to international students who are African citizens and have been admitted to an undergrad program at Université Laval.

This $5,000 award is renewable once, subject to compliance with the faculty’s excellence requirements and the research director’s recommendation and faculty approval.

Eligibility Criteria

• Have completed or are about to complete a secondary school (baccalaureate) in the Maghreb or Sub-Saharan Africa. 
• Students who begin their studies in the summer semester are not eligible.

   

• Be a new student at the BAA for the autumn or winter term.

   

• Have a 14/20 average and a more general average; 14/20 or higher in maths

   

• Be enrolled in the BAA full-time for two consecutive sessions.

   

• Be a Maghrebi or Sub-Saharan African national.

   

• Submit a full application for admission to the BBA program by the deadlines for winter 2019 or autumn 2019 and you will be approved as a student.
• Never have obtained credits at Laval University
