About the McCain Institute
We are an action tank at Arizona State University’s McCain Institute for International Leadership, not a think tank. Our work is inspired by Senator John McCain’s legacy and is based on three key beliefs: safeguarding democracy and alliances, promoting human rights and protecting the vulnerable, and encouraging character-driven leadership in our own communities and throughout the world.
We assemble thought leaders to explore solutions, build capacity among local leaders, and generate advocacy to move our principles forward via initiatives that address security, economic opportunity, freedom, and human dignity.
Scholarship Benefit
The program is designed to help each Leader develop his or her personal and professional leadership journey and impact by offering training, tools, and access to highly relevant regional and worldwide networks, with the objective of equipping today’s leaders to address tomorrow’s issues.
