Responsibilities

  • Tasks
  • Conduct inspections and tests on mechanical equipment to discover and identify any problems that may exist.
  • Examine running motors, put motor vehicles through their paces on the road, and investigate the workings of automotive systems and components
  • Adjust, fix, or replace broken or worn-out elements and components of automobile systems.

  • Conduct a defect and malfunction analysis, and then discuss your findings with the supervisor to decide if the equipment should be repaired or replaced.
  • Rebuild or replace any faulty mechanical components or equipment.
  • Carry out the regularly planned service and maintenance.
  • Fill out reports in order to keep track of the issues and the work done.
  • Review the work orders and have a conversation with the supervisor about the task.
  • Provide client service.

Credentials

  • Courses, certifications, licenses, and memberships are also available.
  • Permission to Drive: License (Class 1 or A)
