Guangdong Provincial Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship, at South China University of Technology(SCUT) 2023 China

The Guangdong Provincial Government Outstanding International Student Scholarship was established by the Guangdong Government to support the growth of Guangdong Higher Education Management of International Students and to advance international influence in Guangdong Higher Education in an effort to encourage more outstanding international students to study in Guangdong.

International students enrolled full-time and performing exceptionally well are given the scholarship. Early applicants for scholarships will gain from SCUT.

Eligibility Criteria

• Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens in good health.

   

• Education and age restrictions:

   

  • Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and be under the age of 35 to study for a Master’s degree.

     

  • Applicants seeking a Doctorate must have a Master’s degree and be under the age of 40.

Documents Required for Application

Filing the Application Form  and uploading the following documents:

• Passport front page (passport must be valid for at least one year from the date of application), visa page (applicants currently in China must provide);

   

• Notarized photocopy of highest diploma or pre-graduation certificate;

   

• Notarized photocopies of official transcripts

   

• A study or research plan (no fewer than 500 words) in Chinese or English;

   

• Two letters of recommendation (Ph.D needs 2 recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, Master and undergraduate student needs 2 recommendation letters from their school or instructors)
• For those applying to music programs, one cassette recording is required. Applicants to architecture, fine arts, and design programs must submit an art portfolio.

   

• Form for Foreigner Physical Examination.
