Flinders University is seeking for an exceptional applicant to conduct research on adversarial machine learning and its applications to communication systems. The goal of this research project is to examine adversarial attacks on AI-powered wireless communication systems.

To support mission-critical communications, a fully trainable AI-enabled radio can sense the operating environment and generate secure, high throughput, and resilient tactical waveforms autonomously.

The research project will analyze adversarial attacks and learn from them in order to develop resilient and dependable artificial intelligence algorithms for creating wireless communication networks.

About the Flinders University

Eligibility Criteria

In order to be eligible for this scholarship, a student must:

  • You must be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or you must have been granted permanent resident status.
  • Fulfill PhD entrance requirements
  • Be available to start as a full-time PhD student at Flinders University in semester one, 2023.
  • Eligible for a research training program scholarship.
