Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility requirement to achieve the Academic Merit Scholarship at the RMIT University are:
- be a Cambodian, Indonesian, Malaysian, Myanmarese, Philippine, Thai, Kenyan, or Vietnamese citizen
- be submitting an application from Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Thailand, Kenya, or Vietnam (including RMIT Vietnam transferred students)
- be an international student with a valid student visa or plan to apply for one prior to the start of the program
- achieve an Australian equivalent grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or a 70% average or ATAR of 75 in your most recently completed qualification
- have an existing offer letter (full or conditional offer) and be starting in any Vocational Education, Associate Degree*, Bachelor’s Degree*, Graduate Certificate, Graduate Diploma, or Masters by Coursework program in July or October (if applicable) 2023 intake
- not currently enrolled at RMIT University (existing ELICOS or Foundation Studies may be eligible)
* The following programs are excluded:
- AD023 Aviation Associate Degree (Professional Pilots)
- Bachelor of Aviation (BP345) (Pilot Training)
