Scholarship Benefit:
The Knight Hennessy Scholarship for International Students is a fully-funded, all-expenses-paid scholarship in the US for international students. Stanford’s Scholarship Program covers the following:
- Covers full tuition (at departmental level) and fees.
- A living stipend for school (such as Room and Board, Books, Academic Supplies, Instructional Materials, Local Transportation, and Reasonable Personal Expenses)
- A stipend to cover an economy-class ticket to and from Stanford.
- Knight-Hennessy Scholars might request extra cash for academic efforts (e.g. conference travel).

Scholarship Eligibility:
If you are applying for a Knight Hennessy Scholarship, you must meet the following requirements:
- Almost Everyone Welcome. All nationalities are welcome to apply to be a Knight-Hennessy Scholar.
- Any field in which you wish to work requires a bachelor’s degree.
- To Be Eligible, You Must Earn Your Bachelor’s Degree in 2016 or After.
- Any bachelor’s or master’s degree earned prior to 2016 does not qualify you for this program.
- In order to apply, you must have completed your first/degree bachelor’s at the time of application, and you must do so before applying to Stanford as a graduate student.
- In order to be eligible for consideration in 2023, you must have received your undergraduate degree by the end of 2016, or later, if you are a graduate.
- As long as you have a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of teaching, your scores from an English proficiency exam aren’t necessary.
