The following criteria must be met by candidates in order to be considered for the award:

• In order to be eligible for discounted tuition, international students are required to take on responsibilities such as teaching or laboratory supervision.
• In order to be considered, applicants are required to enroll in one of the university’s PhD. programs.
• Applicants must have excellent educational merit.
• It is imperative that the candidate be regarded the fee-payer for international applications.
