Scholarship Eligibility
Candidates must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Monash University Scholarship:
- Language Required: English
- Countries Eligible :Every country in the World
- In order to get an honours degree in a certain field of expertise, students must complete four years of full-time study in that discipline, with at least one of those years devoted to research.
- The equivalent of an honors 1 or 2A degree in a relevant discipline by the appropriate department, faculty, and committee.
- For a master’s degree to be considered “work-intensive,” it must include a thesis and at least 25% of the hours required for a full-time year of study. For the research thesis or project, a grade of honors 2A is generally expected. Examiners’ reports will be considered in cases when grades are not provided
- Have qualifications that GRC consider same or similar.
- Scholarships are given to students based on their grades, research output, and research experience.
- Have never held a Postgraduate Research Award paid for by the Australian Government or Monash for more than six months.

- Before you can apply, you need to get an invitation to do so. To get one, you’ll need to fill out an expression of interest and/or find a supervisor who agrees to oversee your research. This depends on the college or university.
