ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for the UCL Global Master’s Scholarship, you must meet all of these requirements:
- Citizenship: You must be from any country outside the United Kingdom.
- Fee status: You must be eligible to pay the Overseas fee rate (confirmed by UCL Admissions).

- Tuition fees: The £15,000 is first applied directly to your tuition fees.
- Maintenance support: Any remaining amount after tuition is paid to you in three equal instalments throughout the academic year to help with living costs.
- Value: £15,000 total for one-year programmes. For two-year full-time programmes, the amount is split 50% each year.
- Duration: Tenable for the length of your programme (one year standard; up to two years if applicable).
- Other notes: You may hold this scholarship alongside other awards, but you must inform the UCL Student Funding Office of any additional funding received. There are up to 85 scholarships available, including five ring-fenced for Indian students and one for a student from Japan (part of the Musubi Global Master’s Scholarship).

HOW TO APPLY
Follow these steps to give yourself the best chance:
Step 1: Research and choose your full-time Master’s programme(s) at UCL for 2026/27 entry.
Step 2: Submit your complete admission application to UCL through the official admissions portal, including all required documents and references (references may take up to 24 hours to appear).
Step 3: Wait for UCL Admissions to confirm your fee status as Overseas (this may happen shortly after application or closer to an offer).
Step 4: Apply for admission well in advance of the scholarship deadline to allow time for processing.
Step 5: Log in to your UCL application portal (Portico) and access your active application(s).
Step 6: In the portal, click the ‘View’ button for the active application you wish to seek funding for.
