KWASU Acting VC Praises Governor for Teaching Hospital Law

The Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, Malete (KWASU), Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, has praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for making the dream of a University Teaching Hospital come true. This happened after the Governor signed the Kwara State University Teaching Hospital Law, 2024, on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at the Government House in Ilorin.

Professor Jimoh said the Governor acted quickly to start upgrading the Ilorin General Hospital to a teaching hospital once the need for better teaching hospital facilities was explained to him. These facilities are crucial for training new medical doctors at Kwara State University.

The Acting Vice-Chancellor expressed that the Governor’s dedication to this project is truly inspiring. He believes it shows how effective leadership can turn the needs of the people into real, beneficial projects.

Professor Jimoh also mentioned that the teaching hospital will do more than just train medical students. It will also improve the quality of healthcare available to the people of Kwara State.

He ended by saying that Kwara State University is very grateful and committed to supporting the Governor’s efforts to improve the state.
