The 2022 International Scholarship is being made available by the University of Waikato to students of high merit who are considering enrolling in one of the university’s degree programs.

• Duration of Award: up to 36 months (three years)

Scholarship Benefit

The candidate could receive up to $25,000 a year in addition to domestic tuition fees and the Student Services Levy.

Eligible Criteria

To be eligible, you must;

• Nationals of New Zealand, permanent residents, or international students.
• Be enrolling in a doctoral qualification at the University of Waikato, such as a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), Doctor of Musical Arts (DMA), Doctor of Education (EdD), or Doctor of Juridical Science (SJD).
• Be pursuing their initial doctorate degree.
• Intend to enroll in full-time studies at the University of Waikato
