International Excellence Entrance Scholarship at University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) , Canada

International students are invited to apply for the International Excellence Entrance Scholarship in order to study at the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in Canada during the 2023/24 academic year. The scholarship is competitive and awarded to students with outstanding academic accomplishments.

Each year, UFV International welcomes over 800 new international students from over 70 countries. UFV encourages academic excellence by offering numerous entrance scholarships annually. UFV International awarded over $400,000 in scholarships last year.

About the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), located in the beautiful Fraser Valley just east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a fully accredited, public university that enrols approximately 15,000 students per year. The University of the Fraser Valley has campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope, and Agassiz, as well as a growing presence in Chandigarh, India.

Even during the winter months, the Fraser Valley remains green, with an annual average of only a few snow days. You can enjoy nature throughout the year through a variety of enjoyable activities, including hiking, swimming, biking, rafting, golfing, fishing, snowboarding, and skiing.

Eligibility Criteria

You qualify for this scholarship if you:

• You apply to UFV to study.
• You are in your senior year of college or you have recently graduated.

For this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Have a minimum overall CGPA (cumulative GPA) of 3.75 on all approved grade 12 courses
• Apply to a degree program
• Have a minimum CGPA of 3.0 for each of your previous years at UFV to maintain the scholarship

Note: Short-term visiting and exchange students are not eligible for entrance scholarships.

Documents Required for Application

Ensure that the following items have been completed and submitted with your application:

• English language proficiency documentation
• Official transcripts from high school and/or post-secondary transcripts.

There is no application required for this scholarship. If you meet the eligibility requirements and apply to UFV, you are automatically considered. Preference is given to students applying to bachelor’s degree programmes.
