RMIT University has been awarded an MRFF grant to validate the use of artificial intelligence-based thermal imaging for diagnosing delayed wound healing situations. This is an interdisciplinary project. You will be working in the field of Digital Health and will be co-supervised by an endocrinologist and a podiatrist.

As a student who is passionate about people and digital health. You will collaborate closely with diabetic foot clinics and be co-supervised by a biomedical engineer, endocrinologist, and podiatrist.

You will collaborate with physicians to capture thermal pictures of their patients’ feet, and with biomedical engineers to model the data for an AI system that can detect wounds that are likely to heal slowly.
