About the Brock University
Brock University is an Ontario public research university located in St. Catharines. It is the only university in Canada located within a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve, in the heart of the Niagara Peninsula and Niagara Escarpment in Canada. The university bears the name of Major-General Sir Isaac Brock, who defended Upper Canada during the War of 1812 against the United States.

The Brock Scholars awards are the largest of our awards. These awards are granted automatically to incoming students from any country.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for International Student Scholarships in 2022, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be classified as an international student in order to pay tuition.
- Must possess the necessary postsecondary credentials for admission to a Canadian institution of higher education.
- Must exhibit superior academic and leadership skills.
- Be proficient with the English language.

- A signed and completed online application form
- Two endorsement letters signed and dated by individuals who are nominating you for this award.
- A two to five minute video explaining why you believe you would make an excellent International Student Ambassador. A link to the location where we can view your video must be included in the application. YouTube, Dropbox, iCloud, and Facebook Live are examples of platforms where your video could be posted.
