International Emergency Fund Scholarship at University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), Canada

International students are invited to apply for the International Emergency Fund Scholarship to attend the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) in Canada for the academic year 2023/24. The scholarship is competitive and awarded to students with outstanding academic accomplishments.

Each year, UFV International welcomes over 800 new international students from over 70 countries. UFV encourages academic excellence by offering numerous entrance scholarships annually. UFV International awarded over $400,000 in scholarships last year.

About the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV)

The University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), located in the beautiful Fraser Valley just east of Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a fully accredited, public university that enrols approximately 15,000 students per year. The University of the Fraser Valley has campuses in Abbotsford, Chilliwack, Mission, Hope, and Agassiz, as well as a growing presence in Chandigarh, India.

Scholarship Benefit

Amount offered per recipient: 

• Cost of tuition for two academic years (approximately $12,000 to $36,000 CAD, depending on status).
• Room and board (UFV’s on-campus housing and meal plan for students)
• Modest relocation benefit (if applicable)

Number per year:

• 1-3 dependent on availability of funding

Eligibility Criteria

You qualify for this scholarship if you:

• In your home region, you have been affected by a national crisis or natural disaster.
• You are eligible to enrol in a programme of study open to international students at UFV as you meet the admission requirements.
