Performing an outstanding feat, Ebiomofari Omowumi Janet overcomes a difficult start from a GPA of 1.59 in her first year to a perfect 5.00 at the University of Ilorin, securing a first-class in a degree in Agricultural Science.

Opening up about her amazing achievement on a Twitter post, she shared her story of her academic struggles, starting her academic career with a 1.59 GPA in her first semester after failing two courses. She was also dealing with financial difficulties, health issues and depression.

In spite of her academic, financial and health struggles, she became motivated to succeed and improve and by her third year at the University, she achieved a stellar result of straight A’s, giving credit to her hard work, discipline, determination, effort and her unbreakable faith in God.

Utilizing the scriptures of God as a way to strengthen her resolve and confidence, Janet opened up about her academic journey as a personal and spiritual battle. She encourages others to stay consistent and seek the guidance of God.

It is apparent from her story that failure is not forever and will, determination and faith in God can lift one’s life from a path of failure and depression to a path of victory and success.
