Tamunoipirinye A resolute Nigerian student, Royal Banigo graduated as the fourth-best graduating student in her class and obtained a law degree with a 4.76 CGPA. Royal acknowledged the difficulties she encountered while reflecting on her five-year academic career and sharing her accomplishment on LinkedIn. Although she had a perfect 5.0 CGPA at the start of her first semester, she saw a brief drop in her grades due to challenges in later semesters.
Royal once thought she might not be able to fulfill her aim of graduating with first-class honors. But she persevered and worked hard, and in her last three semesters (400 and 500 levels), she received perfect 5.0 grades, earning a 4.76 CGPA.
She was the fourth-best law student in her class to graduate with this achievement. Royal thanked her teachers for their patience, support, and mentoring, all of which were crucial to her academic achievement. She also expressed her gratitude to her friends, emphasizing their invaluable cooperation and support during her academic career. Royal stressed that success is not attained alone but rather with the combined assistance of others as she anticipates the next phase of her career. Setting clear goals, cultivating a growth mentality, accepting obstacles, sticking to a study schedule, asking for help when necessary, balancing extracurricular activities and academics, and keeping faith at the center of one’s journey are some of the things she advised other students to do.
