Edidiong Umoh, an attorney from Nigeria, has graduated with a master’s degree from the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
At the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, Edidiong earned a Master of Business Administration. She posted about this accomplishment on LinkedIn, showcasing her accomplishments and offering insights into her academic path.
She started her undergraduate career at Afe Babalola University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Law. She then went on to the Nigerian Law School, where she was granted a Certificate of Barrister at Law.
Edidiong stated that before to deciding to pursue an MBA at the esteemed Saïd Business School, University of Oxford, she worked in Nigeria for a period as an attorney at A.O. Alegeh & Co. and as a regulatory services consultant at Andersen.
Thankfully, she received full scholarships from the Saïd Foundation and the Mastercard Foundation, supporting her choice. Edidiong claimed to have entered the MBA program with curiosity and an open mind and to have come out of it a better, stronger person.
She claimed that although she had anticipated learning about strategy, financing for businesses, and entrepreneurship, she had also learned a great deal about friendship, culture, and relationships.
Edidiong claimed that she experienced a strange feeling while completing modules from different subjects, learning from eminent faculty members, and gaining information from the university’s engaging and enthusiastic instructors.
She added that the professors and lecturers who taught her demonstrated intelligence, expertise, curiosity, compassion, a range of viewpoints, and innovative teaching strategies based on kindness and a strong confidence in our collective ability to improve the world.
With more than 300 students, 60 nations, 20 courses, 3 terms, many professors, study groups, meetings, and presentations, she called the MBA program a masterpiece.
Edidiong stated that she was active in a number of endeavors, such as spearheading the Oxford Africa Business Alliance, setting up functions, and arranging Africa Night and the MBA Ball.
She expressed her gratitude for the opportunities and experiences she has had.
She quotes a few passages from Lewis Caroll’s Alice in Wonderland, “The Mock Turtle’s Song,” as she sets out on her next adventure. Lewis Caroll was a former Christ Church College student in Oxford.
