About the Global Connect Fellowship
The Global Connect Fellowship (GCF) is a distinguished and exciting opportunity for young academics from all over the world to spend two to three months conducting research on NTU’s lively, international, cutting-edge campus, under the mentoring of world-renowned teachers. GCF attracts the most talented bachelor’s and master’s degree students graduating in 2025. We welcome students from all disciplines who are passionate about research to join us as Global Connect Fellows.
As a Global Research Fellow, you will contribute to cutting-edge research at NTU Singapore, a world-renowned research-intensive public institution. Our faculty and researchers are some of the world’s most accomplished scientists, addressing humanity’s grand challenges and conducting research on AI, Material Science, Smart Manufacturing, Digital Economy, Cybersecurity, Machine Learning, Sustainability, 3D Printing, Health Sciences, Fintech, Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences, Green Finance, Leadership, Digital Economy, Climate Change, Smart Cities & Urbanisation, International Relations, Security & Diplomacy, Entrepreneurship.
Eligibility Requirements
Undergraduate or Master students graduating in 2025 or 2026 are eligible for GCF Spring Intake starting on 3 February 2025.
The Fellowship will be for 3 months (College of Science) / 2 months (All other Schools). All applicants will be informed of the result of their application by mid December 2024.
The following are the eligibility requirement for the Global Connect Fellowship:
- Degree Requirements: The fellowship is accessible to bachelor’s or master’s students graduating in 2025 or 2026, preferably in STEM fields.
- Research Interest: Applicants should have a strong desire to conduct research and maybe get a PhD at NTU.
- Academic Excellence: A solid GPA is required to demonstrate academic ability and preparation for the program.
