It has been announced that Curtin University has introduced an innovative new Cryptocurrency Ph.D. Scholarship Fund, which will cover the entire cost of a PhD at Curtin University.
Donors to Curtin University will be able to pay one another in Bitcoin and Ethereum through the Cryptocurrency PhD Scholarship Fund. Students and researchers will be able to use Centrality’s Web 3.0 platform and developer toolkits. Curtin students and faculty will be able to use real-world software to create decentralized applications that take advantage of the newest technologies, such as Industry 4.0.
It is anticipated that this fund would have a substantial impact on both workers and blockchain research, according to Centrality Group General Manager Jerome Faury.
‘The collaboration with Curtin will ensure graduates are able to employ up-to-date skills to contribute to a future which focuses on digital equality and puts customers back in charge of their data,’ said Mr Faury, as cutting-edge technologies like Web 3.0 and Industry 4.0 rapidly grow.
Graduates from this program will do more than merely research technology; they’ll help establish a more fair digital economy.
The Curtin Foundation has partnered with Nelnet International, a payment platform provider, to make the process of contributing to the fund as easy as possible.
Mr. Heffernan stated that Nelnet International was thrilled to be working with Curtin and Centrality to offer blockchain-specific solutions.
