Finding the perfect study spot can make all the difference in your academic journey. Whether you’re cramming for an exam like most students actually do during exams after chilling throughout the beginning till the middle of the semester, prepping for a test, or simply catching up on classwork, a peaceful and productive environment is key. That’s why I’m going to take you on a lovely tour around Delta State University (DELSU), exploring the best study spots where students like you focus, and get serious during free time, exam periods, and everything in between. I know certain students like to study at home, instead of looking for a study spot in school but this might not work for others who are tempted to be on their bed.
Now let’s dive in to see all the best study spots in Delta state university!
1. University Library (Site III)
The Delta State University Mega Library is arguably the most popular and ideal place for serious studying. 2. The JUPEB Classes (Site II)

3. Lecture Halls (Across All Sites)
When lecture halls aren’t in use, they can serve as great study spaces. These halls are available in all three sites and offer ample seating and quiet time to focus on your work. Arrive early in the day or in the evening when classes have ended for a peaceful environment. Students also go for night reading (popularly called “awoko”) in these lecture halls, although not all Faculties or departments allow students to prep for exams at night using their lecture halls. These are few examples of lecture halls located around campus; Faculty of Social Sciences (FSS lecture halls), Faculty of Pharmacy, the Medical Laboratory Science lecture halls popularly known as “pharmacy block”, Weekend Hall, Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences lecturehalls, Faculty of Education lecture halls, Faculty of Art lecture halls, Convocation lecture hall.
