The Centre for Research in Law (CRiL) is pleased to announce the University of Bedfordshire Ph.D. Scholarship in International Investment Law and Climate Change for the academic year 2022-2023.

All international and domestic/EU students who apply for a Ph.D. program at the Center for Research in Law are eligible for scholarships from the University of Bedfordshire (CRiL). The Award will be given to candidates who have a law degree and the necessary level of English proficiency. It is expected to cover tuition fees for up to three years of study at waiver.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Eligible Countries: All citizens of home countries and international students may apply.
  • Eligible Courses or Subjects: Students can apply for a Ph.D. program taught at the University of Bedfordshire’s Centre for Research in Law (CRiL).
  • Eligibility Requirements: To be considered, candidates must satisfy all of the following criteria:
  • Candidates are expected to have pertinent professional experience.

How to apply

  • How to Apply: Students must use the university portal to apply for admission. To apply for the chance, interested parties must send the completed application form and supporting documents to CRiL-at-beds.ac.uk by the closing date and time.
  • Supporting Documents: Students must give the university a CV, a proposal of up to 2,000 words, a cover letter explaining how their interests and experience relate to the proposed project, and copies of relevant degree certificates and transcripts.
  • Admission requirements: Applicants must have a good first degree in Law or a related field (minimum high 2:1 (Hons) level); other qualifications, especially a Master’s degree, are also important.
  • Language requirement: The students must send in the results of one of the following English tests: IELTS – 6.5.
