Scholarship Benefits:
A PhD student who is conducting research on mathematical billiards within quadrics is eligible for this scholarship, which was established to provide financial assistance to the student.
This scholarship is made possible by the Australian Research Council’s Discovery Project Billiards Within Confocal Quadrics and Beyond as well as the University of Sydney.
The recipient of this scholarship will receive an annual stipend allowance of $27,609 per year for up to three years, provided that they maintain a satisfactory grade point average.
The academic course fees, as well as the fees for student services and amenities, will be covered by this scholarship for a maximum of twelve research periods.

Scholarship Eligibility:
Candidates must:
- be willing to conduct research in mathematical billiards; you must either be an international student with an unconditional offer of admission or a full-time student in the Doctor of Philosophy program at the Faculty of Science.
- possess a bachelor’s degree with honors (first-class or second-class upper), or a master’s degree in a related field with a significant research component, in order to be considered.
- Milena Radnovi, Associate Professor, will serve as the advisor for this project.
- possess a foundation in mathematics, particularly geometry and mathematical analysis, as part of your skill set.
