Work Study Abroad HQ is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, regardless of ability or the technology used to access it.
Our approach
We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 to at least Level AA. This means we work to ensure our content is perceivable, operable, understandable and robust for all users, including those who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation or voice control.
What we do
We structure our pages with clear headings, logical reading order and descriptive link text so that content is easy to navigate and understand.
We use sufficient colour contrast between text and backgrounds to support readers with low vision or colour blindness.
We provide alternative text for images where the image conveys meaningful information.
We design our site to be fully navigable using a keyboard alone, without requiring a mouse.
We avoid content that flashes or moves in ways that could cause discomfort or trigger seizures.
We test our pages across common browsers and devices to ensure a consistent reading experience.
Known limitations
We are a small team, and our site contains a large volume of content. While we actively work to meet accessibility standards across all pages, there may be older articles or elements that do not yet fully comply. We are working to identify and fix these over time.
Some third-party content embedded on our site, such as display advertisements served through ad networks, may not meet the same accessibility standards we apply to our own content. We have limited control over these elements, but choose partners who take accessibility seriously.
Feedback
If you experience any difficulty accessing content on our site, or if something is not working as expected with your assistive technology, we want to know. Please contact us at [contact@schoolnews.info] with details of the issue, including the page URL and the technology you are using. We will do our best to respond within 48 hours and address the problem.
Ongoing commitment
Accessibility is not a one-time project. We review our practices regularly and look for ways to improve. As our site grows, we aim to ensure that growth does not come at the cost of usability for any reader.
