Reflecting on his journey, Tyrone said he is reminded of the struggles and successes that distinguished the past three years, starting straight from his narrative in his high school.

Tyrone remarked that the difficult choice of whether to preserve his Rastafarian dreadlock or go to high school was the beginning of his saga, which he generally refers to as “The Tales from Achimota School.”

He said that he fought for his right to an education and the ability to express his identity by challenging the school’s policies with the support of his father and the entire nation.

He gained recognition as an advocate for equality and tolerance through his national and international media appearances. He prevailed after a two-month legal struggle. Tyrone claimed that by winning, he helped to establish inclusive education and motivated others to oppose bigotry.

He said that he gave it a lot of thought and decided to spend four years pursuing a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in the United States.

Tyrone thanked his lovely sisters for being his inspiration and rock, and his father in particular for his unwavering support and sacrifice. Additionally, he expressed gratitude to the CEO of AikinsConsult, who guided him through the college application process in addition to SAT preparation.

He expressed his gratitude to the founder and president of the Young Achievers Foundation Ghana for spending countless late nights helping him with every part of his college application so that he could tell his story clearly.

Tyrone gives thanks to Child Rights International, his devoted attorneys, and all the other people and groups that helped him along the way. He claimed that their assistance was crucial to his achievement.

He claimed to be carrying the lessons of resiliency, activism, and thankfulness with him as he begins his new chapter at the University of Pennsylvania.

Tyrone stated that his accomplishment is merely the start of a journey in which he intends to continue changing the world by loving his country and his engineering education.
