Demonstrating the entrepreneurial vitality of Humboldt University of Berlin's academic ecosystem, alumnus David Chen has successfully closed a twelve million dollar venture investment round for an environmental intelligence company originally conceived during their studies in Berlin.

The startup specializes in automated satellite remote sensing and machine learning analysis, providing institutional investors and environmental regulators with auditable, real-time measurements of methane and carbon emissions across energy infrastructure.

The Incubation Journey

• Foundational Research: Initial algorithms developed during graduate coursework within Humboldt University of Berlin's Faculty of Physics and Astronomy.
