Scholarship Benefit
This scholarship provides up to $8,000 in cash over the course of one year.
Eligibility Criteria
- Be a domestic student
- Be a current Deakin University student enrolled full-time in your second or third year of your first undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Trimester 1 2023
- Have a minimum Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 70
- Be able to demonstrate that you attended an Australian public high school
- Be the first member of your family to attend university
- Be able to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to supporting our communities

Documents Required for Application
You will also be required to upload current supporting documentation as part of the application process.
When applying for this scholarship, you must provide proof of your volunteer and/or community service.
You must also provide proof that you attended an Australian public high school.
The following documentation is acceptable:
- Results of the High School Certificate (VCE)
- grade report
- Your years of attendance are verified by a letter from the school, signed on its letterhead.
- a statutory declaration listing your school’s name and the years you attended.
- When uploading your documents, be sure to select the appropriate domestic scholarships document type because it will make a difference. Your application will not be evaluated if your supporting materials are uploaded in the wrong format. Always keep in mind that quality, not quantity, is what is required. Try to deliver materials that are current, pertinent, and short.
