In an effort to recruit and promote emerging animation talent, Netflix and GOBELINS are now awarding six scholarships to African students beginning in September 2023.
In an effort to recruit and promote emerging animation talent, Netflix and GOBELINS are now awarding six scholarships to African students beginning in September 2023.
This two-year course taught in English is intended to help students attain a professional level, particularly in directing and storytelling in a multicultural setting.
In addition to exercises in writing, storyboarding, and complicated animation (mixed techniques, interactive characters), students participate in a film with an open theme under settings resembling those of a professional setting.

Scholarship Benefits
They will cover tuition costs for the duration of the programme (3 years for the BA, 2 years for the MA).
Eligibility Criteria
The grants will assist six students admitted to the Master of Arts in Character Animation and Animated Filmmaking programme at GOBELINS.
