YOU WILL BE ABLE TO:

  • Create a variety of interactive experiences, ranging from comprehensive websites to landing pages
  • Formulate original ideas for solutions by basing them on marketing strategies and the needs of the client.
  • Deliver precise estimates for the development jobs based on the requirements that are already known.
  • Work in conjunction with the design teams to provide wire frames and design mock-ups.
  • Perform functionality, presentation, and performance testing on websites using a variety of browsers and devices in order to identify any flaws.
  • Develop and lead content management system (CMS) training sessions for client websites.
  • Offer support for developers on the site that already exists.

Job Requirements

You should have:

  • Experience working as a front-end developer on the PHP-based content management system Craft for at least three years (agency environment as asset)
  • Strong awareness of the semantics of HTML and how they effect search engine optimization
  • A familiarity in developing contemporary CSS layouts using flexbox and grid.
  • An ability of writing JavaScript (ES6 is a plus) independently of the use of libraries provided by third parties
  • Knowledge and experience integrating templates into PHP-based content management systems (e.g., WordPress, Craft, Drupal, etc.)
  • Expertise in developing content management system templates utilizing the Twig template engine
  • Having experience integrating third-party RESTful APIs and JSON data structures into already existing systems is a plus.
  • Expertise in the most up-to-date versions of HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge and experience working with Git and source control
  • Capable of working fluently with the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe XD, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • A familiarity with the ideal procedures for search engine optimization
  • Experience leading development projects, either internally with a development team or outside with a vendor is required.

  • Knowledge and experience with CSS processors, such as Sass or Less, as well as JavaScript module bundlers and build systems (e.g., Web-pack or Gulp)
  • Capable of completing fundamental responsibilities with web hosting control panels (e.g., cPanel or Plesk)
  • A solid understanding of design principles as well as best practices for the user experience
  • A familiarity with front-end performance methodologies as well as testing
