Scholarship Benefits
The benefit of Shasta College Foundation are:
- The amount of the scholarship is $3,000. (one-time)
- The amount of the scholarship is deposited into the recipient’s Shasta College Student account so that it can be used to cover the costs of the student’s study.
Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for the Foundation Scholarship at Shasta College are as follows:
- Complete the application form, including the essay (500 word maximum)
- Maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5.
- You are required to submit two (2) letters of recommendation from individuals who are not members of your immediate family but who are familiar with your work (teacher, employer, church member, etc.). These individuals should be able to comment on your abilities and character.
- Send in the most recent copy of your unofficial school transcript.
Before the student can be eligible for financing for the Fall semester at Shasta College, they need to be enrolled in a minimum of 12 units there.
Scholarship applications must be received by April 30, 2023 at 11:59 pm Pacific Standard Time (PST).
