Africa Plant Nutrition 2023 Scholarship Program for African Students

We are pleased to offer University of Exeter graduates beginning a taught Masters degree (eg MA, MSc, MRes, MFA, LLM) or research degree (eg MPhil, PhD) with us a tuition fee scholarship.

We are pleased to offer University of Exeter graduates beginning a taught Masters degree (eg MA, MSc, MRes, MFA, LLM) or research degree (eg MPhil, PhD) with us a tuition fee scholarship.

These awards cover 10% of the first year tuition price for students enrolling in a taught or research postgraduate programme in 2023/24. Please note that this award is ineligible for PGCE programmes.

The African Plant Nutrition Institute (APNI) is a non-profit research and education organisation situated in Benguérir, Morocco, that was established in 2019 and has its headquarters there. Our objective is to improve plant nutrition for a food-secure and resilient Africa

The African Plant Nutrition Scholar Scholarship Program will offer ten (10) $2,000 grants (U.S. Dollars)

Eligibility Criteria

Eligible graduate students are those who:

  • Currently enrolled at a degree-granting institution in Africa.
  • Applicants for a Master of Science, Master of Philosophy, or Doctor of Philosophy degree who are enrolled in a graduate programme as of the application deadline. Candidates with finished degrees are ineligible.
  • Agronomy, horticulture, ecology, soil fertility, soil chemistry, crop physiology, environmental science, and other related fields are welcome to apply.
  • Former recipients of the award are ineligible.
